Funny and Original Celebrity Halloween Costumes for 2010

One of the fun ways to choose your costume for Halloween is to pick a trendy or viral subject and go from there. As we know, the world is enthralled with celebrities and how they live their lives. So to that extent choosing a Halloween costume that is based around a celebrity is fun, original and very relevant. Most people will appreciate the creativity and thought that you put into your costume. With that in mind here are a few celebrity costume ideas for 2010. These are based around things that happened in 2010.

Elin Nordegren / Tiger Woods - Possibly the most popular Celebrity couple (or un-couple) of 2010. The Tiger Woods costume is pretty easy with a beat-up face, you can even purchase a Tiger Woods mask. The Elin Nordegren costume is a bit harder but only really requires a bent golf club, blonde hair and a skimpy girl golfers outfit.

Mel Gibson / Oksana Grigorieva - Another very famous celebrity couple in 2010 is Mel Gibson and girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva. The Mel Gibson costume requires short grey hair and to look very classy but act completely out-of-line at times. Oksana Grigorieva costume requires long black hair, to look classy and hang by Mel Gibson's side.

Lindsay Lohan - Lindsay Lohan has been in an out of jail for DUI in 2010. This makes her a great costume as either Lindsay Lohan or Lindsay Lohan in a jail costume. The Lindsay Lohan jail costume is fairly easy with a smoky brown/blond wig, orange jumpsuit and handcuffs.

Betty White - Betty White had a huge facebook following to get her on SNL. Now everyone is trying to get her on the show Glee. You can dress like Betty White by visiting a thrift store and picking up some old lady clothes and a curly haired grey wig. Just don't forget the Betty White sass.

Heidi Montag - Heidi Montag has been in the news lots in 2010 because of her rather large breast implants. To wear this costume you'll need blonde hair a skimpy outfit and to stuff your bra with LOTS of tissue paper to make the G-cup sized implants!

Jesse James / Sandra Bullock - Sandra and Jesse have been all over the news after Jesse cheated on Sandra Bullock (editors note: who would do that to her? seriously.). Anyway, the Sandra Bullock costume requires you to dress up in a very classy lady like dress and then be on the arm of Jesse James. You may want to add a name-tag to better represent the costume. The Jesse James costume requires lots of tattoos on your arm and to look rough and tough. You can even get some tattoo sleeves to make you look more like Jesse. To really complete this costume you can have another girl go as Jesse's girlfriend, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee. This costume would require a very tattooed girl costume and to be on the other arm of Jesse's.

Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga is always a lady in the news from stage diving in a see-through top to being sued over her name. One of the great things about Lady Gaga is her huge and varied wardrobe which means that the lady gaga costume is very versatile and wide. You can add whatever flair you want to look like her. This includes changing your hair, wacky outfits and crazy sunglasses, shoes, etc...
