Black Swan Halloween Costumes

Black Swan is one of the most acclaimed films of 2011 with many awards and nominiations for awards. The fact that Natalie Portman one the Oscar for best leading actress only makes this movie even more well known. All this means that a great costume this Halloween will be the Black Swan costume.

The Black Swan costume takes a bit of work but the end result, when done correctly, looks terrific! To start you must find a Black Swan outfit like this one here. This costume includes a black corset, a short and sexy black tulle skirt, a feathered tail, and feather choker. It also includes black gloves and a feather headpiece. We recommend not using the feather headpiece and using a princess crown.

Next you must add the correct make-up as the costume alone doesn't bring the Black Swan persona to life. The poster on the right should hopefully help to
create your make-up correctly. First, whiten your face to a very pasty white. Next, add red lipstick with black lip-liner around the outside. Finally, add the the black eyeliner which should go from the bridge of your nose, over your eyes and all the way to your hairline. You hair should be pulled back tight and placed in a bun with the princess crown on your head. You should now have a very realistic Halloween costume that everyone will recognize and appreciate!

A fun play on this costume is to have yourself and a girlfriend dress up in a Black Swan and White Swan costume. You could even switch costumes (or turn the White Swan into the Black Swan) throughout the evening to really make a great Halloween costume!
